About.
I'm Luca. I design and build interfaces from Turin, between design and code.
I work on my own, but not in isolation. I move between Figma and the browser, between the grid and the line of code, looking for the point where something stops looking designed and starts feeling obvious.
I care about fluidity: not as an effect, but as the consequence of a product that respects the time, the gesture and the attention of the person using it. That's why I work on design systems, performance and micro-interactions with the same care.
Outside work: analogue photography, bicycles, records I haven't listened to enough yet. Inside work: the same curiosity, with less time.
Four things I believe
01 — 04Simplicity is a decision
It isn't the starting point. It's the result of removing everything that isn't needed, one thing at a time.
The invisible detail is the product
The transition that doesn't interrupt, the right focus ring, the text that doesn't jump. These are the things that make a product feel solid.
Code is design material
It isn't just how design gets delivered. It's where design becomes fast, accessible, alive.
Better a living system than a perfect grid
Rules are there to stand up, not to stand still. A good system leaves room for a better decision when it arrives.
